This document provides biographical information about Neal Parks, the founder and lead investigator of Parks Paranormal Research and Investigation. It details his early interest in paranormal topics from stories his grandmother told, his first investigations starting at age 11, and the formation of his research team. It also lists the equipment and methods his team uses in investigations and includes some images his team has collected purportedly showing paranormal phenomena.

19. Infrared Digital Thermometer Infrared thermometers measure temperature using blackbody radiation (generally infrared ) emitted from objects. They are sometimes called laser thermometers if a laser is used to help aim the thermometer, or non-contact thermometers to describe the device’s ability to measure temperature from a distance. By knowing the amount of infrared energy emitted by the object and its emissivity , the object's temperature can be determined. Infrared thermometers can be used to serve a wide variety of temperature monitoring functions. A few examples provided to this article include: Detecting clouds for remote telescope operation Checking mechanical equipment or electrical circuit breaker boxes or outlets for hot spots Checking heater or oven temperature, for calibration and control purposes Detecting hot spots / performing diagnostics in electrical circuit board manufacturing Checking for hot spots in fire fighting situations Monitoring materials in process of heating and cooling, for research and development or manufacturing quality control situations

21. Geiger Meter Radiation Detector / Nuclear Fallout Meter: Most Civil Defense Geiger Counters were issued by the United States Civil Defense during the 1960s in the midst of the Cold War in an effort to help prepare citizens for a nuclear attack. Although referred to as geiger counters , most CD devices were capable of measuring only high levels of radiation that would be present after a nuclear event. The most popular meter on the market today. This is the simplest radiological survey meter, specifically designed for high-radiation fields for which geiger counters will give incorrect readings (see above). Survey meters do not read alpha or beta radiation. They work by radiation penetrating the case of the unit and the enclosed ionization chamber to produce a visible reading between .1R/hr and 500R/hr. If you can get this unit (or any other like it) to react to any source of radiation evacuate the area immediately!
22. Night Vision Equipment Night Vision Monocular / Night Vision Scope: This state of the art equipment can come in very handy during crypto-zoological research and investigations. Light weight, and easy to use features offer a panoramic view with infrared technology. This equipment can allow an investigator easy access to night site without a flashlight; which in theory can give someone a better opportunity to spy on a Bigfoot in its natural habitat; or if you were to happen upon a giant Thunderbird completely unaware that you would even be near its domicile. This equipment came in very handy during our investigation of the Mothman.
