7. Collision
• The other driver
merged into my
lane, as he wanted
to take a left at the
next intersection
north of Stark
(Burnside) and
created a collision

8. His Damage
As he merged and hit me, you can see that the side of his car
is the only area affected, which is consistent with him merging
too early, as most likely i was in his blind spot. He was not
directly in front of me and i failed to stop, as there is no
damage to the rear of his car
9. My Damage
The damage to my car is on the front right, nothing on the
center, or side of the car
10. White lines
There are also solid white lines heading North on 10th avenue
towards the intersection, discouraging lane changes

11. Witness
As soon as the collision happened, a few pedestrians on the sidewalk turned to
witness what happened. I asked if they saw the collision and they (including
Melissa Adams) said that they hadn’t. Once we had both pulled over, Melissa
brought a man over who claimed to have seen what happened. He said that it
looked like i hit him, and provided no other details. We asked if he could stay to
talk to the police who we were going to call, and he said no. He gave his number
hastily and left the scene. It was my impression that he did not see the whole
event occur, and he provided no details and left quickly.
