ACTIVITY
- Visualize a film about the legend and exploring it
- Searching for stories about the theme
- Collecting dry pine needles, firewood and chestnuts
with the families collaboration, so as to celebrate
this day
- Reusing recyclable materials ( school milk packets)
to make the traditional recipients to fill in with the
already roasted chestnuts
First of all, teachers lit the fire using the firewood and the
dry pine needles. After that, the chestnuts were roasted
and the children and adults could eat them. The
excitement grew at the top when the children sang and
made some games around the campfire. Children also
made facial paintings with coal. Some time later, in the
classroom children made some graphs of the activity.
2. Assessment
- This activity is integrated in the School Educational
Project and in the Activity Year Plan and its
objectives were accomplished. Children and adults
lived this tradition with great excitement and joy.
