2. 3D projection is any method of mapping three-dimensional points
to a two-dimensional plane. As most current methods for
displaying graphical data are based on planar two-dimensional
media, the use of this type of projection is widespread, especially
in computer graphics, engineering and drafting.

3. Planar projections are the subset of 3D graphical projections constructed by linearly
mapping points in three dimensional space to points on a two-dimensional projection
plane. The projected point on the plane is chosen such that it is collinear with the
corresponding three dimensional point and the centre of projection. The lines
connecting these points are commonly referred to as projectors.
The centre of projection can be thought of as the location of the observer while the
plane of projection is the surface on which the two dimensional projected image of the
scene is recorded or from which it is viewed (e.g., photographic negative, photographic
print, computer monitor). When the centre of projection is at a finite distance from the
projection plane, a perspective projection is obtained. When the centre of projection is
at infinity, all the projectors are parallel, and the corresponding subset of planar
projections are referred to as parallel projections.

5. Burberry's Holographic Runway Show in Beijing --- 04/13/2011
Burberry celebrated the opening of its Beijing flagship store with a
psychedelic runway show featuring holograms walking through one
another, bursting into snowflakes and multiplying along the catwalk.
3D holograms and real models mixed together,only six of them are real
models:Delevingne, E.Campbell, J.Dunn, C.France, S.Brice,Shupei.Qin.

6. Anouk Wipprecht (NL) is a fashion designer. She is fascinated by the idea of
having both a physical and a psychological relationship with a garment. she
gained deeper knowledge of the fashiontech field by assisting Sabine Seymour in
Vienna, Austria. In 2010, she graduated at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten
Utrecht, where she collaborated with Aduen Darriba (interaction designer) on the
project Technosensual. In collaboration with Studio Roosegaarde and V2_Lab,
Anouk worked on Intimacy Black. She was an Artist-in-Resident during the V2_
Summer Sessions 2010, and she developed The Birds installation for the Re:visie
film festival (2010).

7. Bart Hess explores several fields combining material studies, animation and
photography. Bart has a very personal and recognizable signature. With his designs he is
able to use new and existing materials in a very innovative way and he seems to tap into
new worlds. His work is of international stature, he finds and creates its own stage and
international collaborations with prestigious names such as Lady Gaga, Palais de Tokyo,
Lucy McRae and Nick Knight. With his work he obtained an independent position in the
(fashion) world.

8. Daan Roosegaarde is a Dutch artist and innovator. With his team of designers and
engineers he has made several internationally acclaimed interactive artworks such as
Dune, Intimacy 2.0, Lotus and Smart Highway.
Team Roosegaarde. As high-end international design firm, Studio Roosegaarde seeks
the best participants to create an innovative work environment. The studio is
composed of dedicated software and electronic developers, designers, and architects.

9. Gareth Pugh S/S 2011 presented by SHOWstudio.com
Gareth Pugh is a fashion designer who has received global recognition
for both his outlandish clubwear and his novel approach to redefining
modern luxury. Pugh has collaborated with magazines including Arena
Homme+, Self Service, CENT, i-D and Dazed & Confused.

10. Iris van Herpen stands for a reciprocity between craftsmanship and innovation in
technique and materials. She creates a modern view on Haute Couture that combines
fine handwork techniques with futuristic digital technology . Collaborated with
choreographer and dancer Nanine Linning, architects: Philip Beesley, Neri Oxman, Julia
koerner, Isaie Bloch, Daniel Widrig, Benthem Crouwel. Jewellery designer Heaven
Tanudiredja. Visual artist Bart Hess. Milliners Irene Bussemaker, Stephen Jones shoe
brand United Nude. Filmmaker Zach Gold. Graphic designer Tara Dougans. Director
/filmmaker Joost Vandebrug. Singers: Björk, Joey Yung, Lady Gaga and artist and style
icon Daphne Guinness.

11. Nick Knight OBE is a British fashion photographer, documentary photographer,
and web publisher—as director of SHOWstudio.com. Nick Knight, Director of
SHOWstudio.com, is among the world’s most influential and visionary
photographers. As a fashion photographer, he has consistently challenged
conventional notions of beauty with his groundbreaking collaborations with Yohji
Yamamoto, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen. Advertising campaigns for clients
such as Christian Dior, Lancôme, Swarovski, Levi Strauss, Calvin Klein or Yves Saint
Laurent and award-winning editorials for W, British Vogue, Paris Vogue, Dazed &
Confused, Another, Another Man and i-D magazines have consistently kept Knight
at the vanguard of progressive image-making for the past three decades.

12. Ruth Hogben is a filmmaker based in London. She assisted Nick Knight between 2005 -
February 2009, both as his first photographic assistant and editor of his fashion film
projects. Hogben has continued to collaborate with Knight on numerous films for
SHOWstudio as well as creating films with creatives such as Gareth Pugh, Rick Owens,
Katie Grand and KT Shillingford and for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Barneys, Mac
Cosmetics and Selfridges. Her work was recently screened at the ICA, part of the 2009
Birds Eye View film festival, ASVOFF 2009 and Fash/On Film Festival London 2012.

14. Potts Mueller & Stefan Eckert Design | Yessian has ventured onto the catwalk with
fashion designer Stefan Eckert, presenting music and sound design for a first-of-its-kind
fashion show performance using 3-D holographic imagery. Fashion designer Stefan
Eckert started his career into fashion from his hometown Nuremberg. He dedicated his
early years to the acquisition of the fine skills of tailoring art, which became a typical
signature for his work. Before coming finally home to the place, where he once
graduated from AMD Hamburg, he worked in Alexander McQueen’s Design Studio in
London, attended the MA course at Central Saint Martins and launched his first
collection at Galeries Lafayette Berlin.

engineers/designers, gamers, crafters, tinkerers, inventors, gadget creators
and/or tech artists engaged with mixed prototyping to converge fashion &

materials such as etextiles, wearable computers, circuitries, ambient
intelligence and clothing technology for practical usage of augmented reality
