Editor's Notes
So far, we have seen the input of big data with 3Vs, the processing model and infrastructure. It’s very likely the output also comes with the 3Vs and are shown as spreadsheets or figures. No matter what, interpretation is necessary for understanding and dissemination. However, it is difficult for humans to give interpretations at high velocity. In this situation, it is quite essential for big data technology to support creative work production.Currently, we have artificial big data authors writing football game narratives and earthquake breaking news that gives instructions.I expect to see further advancement that benefits creative workers such writers, composers, painters and artists by automating their work.A creative worker usually has to make adventurous attempts while satisfying market expectations including the fan base. The design space is domain specific but generally, the goal is to maximize the influence or popularity while preserving personal/community styles. The influence or popularity can be viewed as some features extracted from successful examples.Preserving personal styles means people can still recognize the creators.
