 Fat is a nutrient. It is crucial for normal body function
  and without it we could not live. Not only does fat
  supply us with energy, it also makes it possible for
  other nutrients to do their jobs.
 Fats are nutrients that give you energy. Fats have 9
  calories in each gram. Fats help in the absorption of
  fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Fats are either
  saturated or unsaturated, and most foods with fat have
  both types. But usually there is more of one kind of fat
  than the other.
 Saturated fat
 Trans fat
 Unsaturated fat
 Monounsaturated fat
 Polyunsaturated fat
 Omega-3 fatty acids
 1. The main function of fats in the body is to provide
  energy: By supplying energy, fats save proteins from
  being used for energy and allow them to perform their
  more important role of building and repairing tissues.
  Fats on oxidation provide almost twice as much energy
  as that given by carbohydrates.
 2. In addition to supplying energy, fats also help in
  forming structural material of cells and tissues such as
  the cell membrane.
 3. Fats also carry the fats soluble vitamins A, D, E and
  K into the body and help in the absorption of these
  vitamins in the intestines.
 4. Some fats supply essential fatty acids.
 How much is too much body fat?
 It is generally accepted that men should have less than 18%
    total body fat and women less than 23% and that an excess
    is not particularly hazardous to health until levels reach
    35% and 40% total body fat respectively.
   So what is percent body fat?
   Percent body fat is the percentage of the total body that is
    fat. Thus someone who weighs 150 pounds and is 10% fat
    has 15 pounds of fatty tissue.
   Where does body fat come from?
   Fat is produced by the body when the diet provides the
    body with more calories than it needs for general
    maintenance and its current level of physical activity
 How do I lose excess fat?
 The removal of excess fat is achieved by consuming
  less calories than the body requires. The body's fat
  stores will be broken down to address the deficit.
 How does exercise affect body fat?
 An increase in regular exercise will help to increase
  your calorie expenditure. The more physical activity
  you do the more calories you will burn. Accordingly, if
  you increase your physical activity, and do not increase
  your intake of food, you will draw the extra energy
  needed from your stored body fat.
 Low-fat diets can actually increase the risk of heart disease, new
  research has revealed.
 For years people wanting to protect their hearts have avoided
  eating fatty foods such as red meat and dairy products.
 But the study suggests that low-fat diets weaken the immune
  system and slow the body’s healing process and make it less
  effective.
 A lack of fats and cholesterol can allow damage in arteries and
  veins to reach critical levels and lead to heart attacks, strokes or
  organ failure.


 In conclusion, the human body requires nutrition is
 seimbang.diet not mean restricting the intake of a
 food, but to balance food intake with a proper
 quantity. for example in fat intake. fat is very
 important to our bodies. but must be taken with the
 correct quantity

Not only does fat supply us with energy, it also makes it possible for other nutrients to do their jobs.  Fats are nutrients that give you energy. Fats have 9 calories in each gram. Fats help in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Fats are either saturated or unsaturated, and most foods with fat have both types. But usually there is more of one kind of fat than the other.
