3. Why Form an Eco Bookstore?
There will always be people that want to read.
Recycling and reusing are important because it is
helping the environment.
People of all ages read.
4. Business Summary
My business is going to be a bookstore. My book store is
going to be called “Eco-Books”. One way I will be green is my
business will recycle books. I found a company online that takes
books people don’t want any more and shreds them to make
new paper. I think it is a good idea, but they are losing profit
from it. Most of these bookstores were near collages and
shredded a lot of used text books. Collage kids do not want to
pay full price for their books. So, instead of shredding the books,
I would resell them at a cheaper price. To get people to come to
my bookstore I would put up flyers billboards and a website. All
employees I hire will have a high school education or straight A’s
(if still in school). The manager I will higher will have a business
degree also. Barnes & Noble is my competitor, but their prices
are really high. I will prices my products really cheap. Not so
cheap though, that I won’t make a profit. My product can be
cheaper because my company will not be as big, so I won’t have
as much overhead. A green business is a business that helps
the environment or the community. My business would help both
