The European Commission grants up to 50% co-funding to finance green ideas.
BUDGET
All legal persons in the eligible countries with priority given to Small-and Medium-
sized Enterprises (SMEs).
BENEFICIARIES
There is no formal minimum or maximum amount for the grant.
On average an Eco-innovation project has an approximate budget of € 1.6m (=€
800.000 EU funding).

BENEFICIARIES
Although priori ty will be given to SMEs*, all legal persons, whether private or public, established in
either of the following countries are eligible:
The 27 member states of the EU
Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein
Albania, Croatia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Israel, Montenegro, Serbia , and
Turkey
Other non-EU countries provided they have the appropriate agreement in force.
*For the purpose of this Call, SMEs are defined as enterprises which employ fewer than 250
persons and which have an annual turnover not exceeding €50 million, or an annual balance sheet
total not exceeding €43 million

Materials Recycling
Implement waste sorting and treatment methods to improve the quality of
recycling materials such as construction, industrial, household, electrical and
electronic waste.
Encourage the design of innovative products using recycled materials and
facilitate material recycling.
Multiply business innovations that strengthen the competitiveness of the
recycling industries.

Sustainable building products
Propel the use of construction products and related processes that
reduce consumption of resources, embodied carbon and production
of by-product wastes.
Encourage the use of environmentally-friendly construction materials
and innovative manufacturing processes.

Food and drink sector
Innovative products including new packaging solutions that reduce
environmental impact and maximise resource efficiency.
Cleaner and more efficient processes that reduce waste and increase
materials recycling and recovery.
Improved water management processes that reduce the use of water across
the food and drink supply chain.
Innovative products, processes and services reducing environmental impacts
of consumption of food and drink.

Water efficient processes, products and technologies, especially water-free
processes.
Water and wastewater treatment: solutions that offer greater efficiency and
reduced environmental impact.
Smart distribution systems aiming at saving water, chemicals, energy and
materials.

Greening business
Innovative products that will decrease environmental impacts and use less
resources.
Greening of production and clean production processes, including industrial
symbiosis.
Substitution of materials by materials with reduced environmental impacts and
higher resource efficiency (e.g. bio-based products), substitution of scarce
materials and increased use of secondary raw material.
Gradual innovation by introducing re-manufacturing mechanisms and
innovative repairing services with substantial environmental benefit.

4. Monitor the processing of the grant.
EVM counts with an interdisciplinary team: industrial engineers, computing
engineers, architects, geographers, chemists, or graduates in law, which allows
us to provide our clients with a wide ranging ability to support their procedures.
1. Prepare the administrative application for the grant.
2. Support the processes of making, advising, and preparation of the technical
and economic sides of the project.
3. Identify and collect all the paperwork and information required for the
application process.
