ART IS LOVE is a celebration of art, philanthropy, and accomplishments in Haiti since the
devastating earthquake less than two years ago.

ART IS LOVE pays tribute to Artists for Peace and Justice, Urban Zen, We Advance, Happy
Hearts, and Hollywood Unites for Haiti and provides financial support for these
compassionate groups of people who have creatively found ways to make an impact in
Haiti.

ART IS LOVE takes place during Miami Beach Art Basel when over a million affluent,
sophisticated and socially conscious individuals from around the world descend on
Miami.

The A R T I S L O V E evening will be hosted by Gerard Butler, Maria Bello, Jimmy Jean
Louis, Donna Karan, and Petra Nemcova.

The Event is dedicated to supporting organizations that aid Haiti including:

• The Happy Hearts Fund

The ART IS LOVE gala, which will become the highlight of Art Basel and social event of
the year, will be exclusively by invitation only.

The ART IS LOVE Gala
We begin with a “ART IS LOVE TALK” featuring top international artists displaying and
discussing their most intriguing pieces. Artists include Sheppard Fairy among others.

At 6:30 the Red Carpet begins with international celebrities from the film and art world
coming together for this worthwhile cause.

At 8 O’clock, the Raleigh Hotel will be transformed the worlds premiere art stage.
Guests will experience artistic installations including performance artists, musical
performances, art pieces and more.

Your celebrity hosts are Gerard Butler, Maria Bello, Jimmy Jean Louis, Donna Karan,
and Petra Nemcova. With musical performances by Steven Tyler and Goapele.

The ART
Guests will be treated to an inspired dinner with the culinary stylings of
Celebrity Chef J with paired with the wine selections from the top vineyards
of Italy.

IS LOVE
We’ll then have a presentation on the various organizations and honor them
for their contributions to Haiti. This will follow by a ten item live auction
with artist pieces and other amazing items with 100% of the contribution

Gala
going to the nights celebrated non-profit artists.

The night will then transform into the A R T I S L O V E N I G H T inviting new
guests to the event with a live performance by Steven Tyler and celebrity DJ
Tony of the Ellen Degenerous show.

The late night festivities continue with the star studded Art Basel Closing
Party at Club Play.

the city of Miami
• The event will take place during Art Basel Miami Beach, the most

Artists for Peace and Justice
Artists for Peace and Justice is a non-
profit organization supporting
communities in Haiti through programs in
education, health and dignity. They are
removing the barriers poverty poses to a
future of opportunity for children in Haiti.

Artists for Peace and Justice continues to provide for the basic needs of the
community we work with, removing major barriers preventing children from going to
school, such as medical care, food and clean drinking water.

Their mission is to build the first free secondary school in slums of Port-au-Prince,
The Academy for Peace and Justice, which will provide a holistic education program
for 3000 students. In October 2010 they opened the doors of the Academy to the
first 400 children, 400 dreams.

Uraban zen
The Urban Zen Foundation creates,
connects and collaborates to raise awareness and
inspire change in the areas of well-being, preserving
cultures and empowering children. They design
forums, partner with existing organizations and bring
together experts to define solutions and implement
action.

The organization focuses on health issues, child
advocacy, and preservation of culture in the face of
globalization.

Happy Hearts Fund
Happy Hearts Fund is a non-profit
foundation dedicated to improving children’s
lives through educational and sustainable
programs in natural disaster areas and is lead by
Petra Nemkova .

Globally, HHF is active in nine countries and has
built/rebuilt 55 schools and kindergartens. Since
inception our programs have benefited more
than 34,330 children and 337,450 community
members.

HHF administrative expenses are underwritten
by its board allowing 100% of all public
donations to go directly toward building a future
for children affected by natural disasters

We Advance
WE ADVANCE is a movement to advance the
health, safety, and well being of women throughout
Haiti and Co-founded by activist and actor, Maria Bello.
They work in some of the poorest slums in all of the
western hemisphere – Wharf Jeremy and Cité Soleil.

WE ADVANCE is a rights- and community-based
participatory program. They empower women’s minds,
bodies and spirits and enable them to discover their
own needs and priorities, benefiting the entire
community.

WE ADVANCE brings in volunteer experts to train local
community leaders in the aspects of health, safety and
education.

Hollywood unites for haiti
Hollywood Unites For Haiti is a
non profit organization whose mission is to
promote sports and cultural activities for
the underprivileged youth of Haiti. HUFH
recognizes the unique opportunity that
Hollywood has in raising awareness about
Haiti.

HUFH founder Jimmy Jean-Louis
says "Haiti has suffered many set backs in
its rich history and yet the Haitian people
have never lost the character to face
adversity with creativity, resilience, and
community."
