The welcome address introduces the coronation of the Saint Joseph Frienademitz School Prince and Princess 2012 fundraising event. It summarizes that the school's roof was in disrepair and needed funds for repairs, so a fundraising campaign was organized involving the selection of a Prince and Princess. Though obstacles were faced, the dedicated efforts of parents and teachers made the fundraising a resounding success. The address expresses gratitude to all who contributed and made the activity a reality for the benefit of the school.

May I take this opportunity to welcome you all, and extend a
further word of welcome to everyone here this afternoon.
The coronation of our Saint Joseph Frienademitz School Prince
and Princess 2012 is certainly a moment that we should savor
and enjoy. If we will try to look back, I am sure you will agree that
we had come a long way in the last few weeks to conclude today
our fundraising activity.
It all started with a discussion between the PTA, the parents and
the school-in-charge; wherein the group was informed of the
current status of the schools roofing is no longer in good condition
and needed an immediate repair. But, the school has no available
fund to support such a big project.
The group then agree to do a fundraising.Brainstorming different
options. Finally, it was agreed to do this Prince and Princess
2012. The fundraising was not an easy task. Every individual
stumbled upon some obstacles along the way. But with the
heartfelt dedication of all parents and of course the teachers. The
fundraising was a resounding success. And that’s the reason why
we are here.
2. We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to all parents
and other role players that make fund raising a success. “KUN
WARAY HA IYO – WARAY KITA NGATAN DINHI YANA”,
Together we make this activity a reality. Waraymabug-at
bastatanannabulig.Waraygutiaykuntananigintatampo ha kadam-
an. As we continue this fund raising next school year, may the
passage in Acts 20:35 be always in our hearts and I quote -
“Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, it is more
blessed to give than to receive.”
You are all most welcome to enjoy our activity this afternoon and
thank you for sharing this day with us.
