1. In May 2009, I decided to quit my job as a software developer and apply to the education program. My dad immediately booked a flight from Taipei to Vancouver to talk to me. I told him that I knew what I was doing, but honestly I wasn't sure... After (almost) 13 weeks of my practicum, I am 100% sure that this is what I want to do!

15. IB Mandarin 11 Field Trip On May 2, 2011, my IB Mandarin students visited the Chung Collection at UBC, an incredible collection of thousands of artifacts depicting Chinese Canadian history. Guided Tour by Ms. Romkey, Archivist at the Chung Collection
16. IB Mandarin 11 Field Trip Students also participated in a workshop host by the Community Historical Recognition Program – Chinese Canadian Stories project. Students got to interpret the letters written by early Chinese immigrants with the guidance of our guest lecturer. Student parents have signed media consent forms to grant permissions to publish student photos.
18. Outside the classrooms... One of my students performing at Gimme Da Beat (Music/Dance performance) 5 of my students are excellent actors/actresses at the school play.
