1. BC Computer Stuff You Must Know Or, creating a culture of dynamic online content at the BRONFMANCENTER.

3. Table of Contents Zoomed Out: Wikipedia Definition of Online Media (briefly) and a few impressive facts that will make us say WOW. Zooming In:What tools do we use at the BC, and where do you fit in? (In short, everywhere). Nose Smushed Against the Glass: How do you (nitty gritty) get in there and Post to the website? Tweet? Use Our Facebook Presence? Blog? Send newsletter emails?
15. You will be posting on our Blog! [Content] + Reflections from staff, students, and stakeholders 4x/week + Quick links to our content elsewhere (e.g. new Flickr album) Ad hoc + Programs from outside organizations [Strategy] + Invite guests to post regularly (other departments, funders, alumni) + Assign staff a week to ‘project manage’ the blog+ Create a Guest login account In Summary: Staff will be a assigned a week during which they are responsible to generate content, or make sure others do. Other content (photos/videos), can be shared here as it is created. This is a great place to share work from other organizations (e.g. ‘we can not cosponsor, but we would be happy to share this on our blog).

20. How to: Use Facebook, cont….. We have a Fan Page for The Bronfman Center and a Profile for Gammel the Camel. When using Facebook as Gammel, please remember that you are an individual camel, not an organization. If you are unfamiliar with how to use Facebook, watch this instructional video. http://www.ehow.com/videos-on_108_use-facebook.html Fan Page: your personal account has likely already been added as an administrator of the account. If it has not, you may access administrator rights for this page via Gammel. Type “Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life at NYU” into the top search bar to reach our page. How We Use Flickr… [Content] + Photos from all events, programs + Photographs for website albums (for example, on the Arts & Culture page) [Strategy] + Photos posted here no more than 2 days following an event + Maintain Flickr PRO account to accommodate capacity + Group photos by ‘sets’ + Apply photo ‘tags’ (ex. jewish learning, student clubs, etc.) to make pictures of a certain theme easy to find later (for our website or to incorporate in presentations to donors)
