Basic steps of how to approach writing a scientific paper with online resources (databases and research guide) available through the University of Michigan Health Sciences Libraries.
1. Think of really really good idea 2. Review the existing literature to determine what has been done before and whether your idea is really so good (this is where I can help you) 3. Formalize the idea within a conceptual framework that makes it relevant to researchers in the (whatever) field of interest (this includes reviewing the appropriate background literature) 4. Test idea thoroughly with the appropriate experiments (this may take years of effort) 5. Write paper in the format appropriate for the journal of interest 6. Submit paper and begin to pray. Ask your family and friends to pray, too.
