This document provides vocabulary related to parts of the body in Spanish and English. It lists and defines key body parts including the head, brain, hair, eyes, eyebrows, ears, nose, mouth, neck, back, arms, elbows, hands, fingers, thumb, stomach, hips, buttocks, legs, thighs, knees, ankles, feet, and toes. Definitions are provided for each body part in both Spanish and English.
2. Cabeza Head /hed/ * The part of the body above the neck that contains the eyes, nose, mouth and ears and the brain

4. Pelo Hair /heər/ * The mass of thin thread-like structures on the head of a person, or any of these structures that grow out of the skin of a person or animal

7. Oreja Ear * Either of the two organs, one on each side of the head, by which people or animals hear sounds, or the piece of skin and tissue outside the head connected to this organ /ɪər /
8. Nariz Nose /nəʊz/ * The part of the face that sticks out above the mouth, through which you breathe and smell
9. Boca Mouth /maʊ θ/ * The opening in the face of a person or animal, consisting of the lips and the space between them, or the space behind containing the teeth and the tongue
10. Cuello Neck /nek/ * The part of the body which joins the head to the shoulders
11. Espalda Back /bæk/ * The part of your body that is opposite to the front, from your shoulders to your bottom
12. Brazo Arm /ɑm/ * Either of the two long parts of the upper body which are fixed to the shoulders and have the hands at the end
13. Codo Elbow /el.bəʊ/ * The part in the middle of the arm where it bends, or the part of a piece of clothing which covers this area .
14. Mano Hand /hænd/ * The part of the body at the end of the arm which is used for holding, moving, touching and feeling things
15. Dedo Finger /fɪŋ.gər / * Any of the long thin separate parts of the hand and foot, especially those which are not thumbs
16. Pulgar Thumb /θʌm/ * The short thick finger on the side of your hand which makes it possible to hold and pick things up easily .
17. Estomago Estomach /stʌm.ək/ *An organ in the body where food is digested, or the soft front part of your body just below the chest
18. Cadera Hip /hɪp/ * The area below the waist and above the legs at either side of the body, or the joint which connects the leg to the upper part of the body /
20. Pierna Leg /leg/ * One of the parts of the body of a human or animal that is used for standing or walking, or one of the thin vertical parts of an object on which it stands. /
21. Muslo Thigh /θ aɪ/ * The part of a person's leg above the knee. /
22. Rodilla Knee /niː/ * The middle joint of the leg, which allows it to bend /
23. Tobillo Ankle /æŋ.kl̩/ * T he joint (= place where two bones are connected) between the foot and the leg, or the thin part of the leg just above the foot .
24. Pie Foot /fʊt/ * Part of the body at the bottom of the leg on which a person or animal stands organ.
