Ken Ferree and his students Jason and Dave gave a presentation in Second Life on 11/7/11 about learning in a virtual world from a student's perspective. The presentation took attendees on a tour of student builds, including a castle and paranormal exhibit, as well as simulations of lighter manufacturing and employee training to demonstrate how virtual worlds can be used for simulations, training, and retail.
