Things to remember:
1. There are 4 parts in the test.
2. There is no time for preparation before each part.
3. Students should speak no Vietnamese during the test.
4. Remember to bring student cards.
PART 1 (2-3 minutes)
- Teacher asks each student some familiar questions.
PART 2 (2-3 minutes)
- Students talk to each other to decide which option would be the best in a situation.
- About 6 options are given. Students should discuss all the options before choosing the best.
- There is a picture with some ideas to help students.
- For example, a school is going to build a sports club. Talk together about the kinds of sports the school
should develop and say which would be the best.
PART 3 (1 minute for each student)
- Each student is given a photograph. While student A (B) is describing the photograph, student B (A) will just
listen.
- ONLY ONE minute for picture description.
- No message is needed in this part. Just description.
PART 4 (3 minutes)
- Students discuss a topic which is given by Teacher.
- Students should avoid this problem: Student A speaks too much while Student B speaks too little.
