1. In this presentation I will show how I added in the various editing
techniques/effects I applied to certain clips within my trailer. The
effects I applied included: Fade out, Fade in, adding text,
shortening the length of clips, fading sound out and adding
voiceovers. I will start off in chronological order and show how to
add the fade out effect.

2. As you can see above is one of the scenes from my trailer and I will
show how to add the fade out effect to it. Firstly you have got to
click on Video Transitions on the effects which is located on the
left hand side. Following this you will drag the effect to the
appropriate scene and place and then see whether it looks
effective- it would be ideal to check each effect before making
choose the best possible one.

3. Dip to black:
I will now show how I used dip to black within my trailer

The above screenshot shows another transition which I have included within
my trailer, this is very effective as it moves onto the next scene effectively, to
do this is very simple, as you can see I have provided the option list, there is
more than one choice I can choose, but ‘ dip to black’ was my preferred
choice, from this stage simply you would drag it onto the scene where you
think it looks appropriate, this then can be previewed to see the actual
outcome.

are able to click on which you find appropriate, this includes
‘displace’ and ‘textures’, personally I had chosen textures as it
