- This is the way the plan currently proposes to divide up the monies. We’ve got the monies in the 2 accounts We’ve got our tribal governments Our Chapters and Villages And the Mine workers who are going to feel the biggest economic impact to the closures So we’re proposing a certain percentage would go into the tribal governments A certain percentage would go into the chapters and villages A certain percentage would go to the mine workers And a certain percentage would go specifically into clean renewable energy and sustainable development projects Now the governments can also put monies into these projects, that would bring investment returns and would also create jobs, and so we would retrain the workers
