We wanted still more comfort. We wanted furniture. We looted your
treasures by cutting trees and hunting animals for their skin. You were still
patient and forgave us. Hopefully you might have thought that we are all
your children and we are the rightful heirs for your treasure.
Were we satisfied? No! We wanted still more comforts. We invented and
manufactured vehicles for our movement. The metallic parts were

manufactured from your bones. The fuel used was obtained by refining
your blood. Oh! Mother! How patient you were! You still forgave us
We made you to suffocate by our industrial gases and made your skin burn

intent any harm to us.
But now….
Mother! You started losing your patience! It is not that you stopped loving
us. But in ignorance and greediness for enhanced comforts we stabbed you

SEE project is a Universal Initiative to create awareness among the Global Population about the serious effects of
Global Warming, to make them realize how a small, simple and responsible gesture from their side benefits the
Earth in the macro level, to unite the entire Global population for this Earth-saving measure and to realize the
continued benefits by turning the environment favorable and make this Earth, a harmonious place for inhabitance
ONCE AGAIN.

The 22 April is observed as the “Earth Day” globally. In the eve of the “Earth Day”, SEE project calls for every
responsible Human Being to express his/her commitment towards the Mother Earth. We can together pledge to
adopt the following practices from now on so that we prevent the contamination of the wonderful Nature and
Living Environment gifted to us by Mother Earth.
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall plant and grow more trees
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall reduce wastes and properly recycle them to
utilize in some other means or form
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall not use any product that is not recyclable
ü We promise our Mother Earth we shall go Organic and avoid the usage of harmful
chemicals for agriculture
ü We promise our Mother Earth we shall conserve electricity by voluntarily shutting off the
power supply in our homes/ organizations etc. for minimum an hour a day, getting used to
the natural environment.
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall use only use fluorescent bulbs and reduce the
usage of Air-coolers/ heaters to control power consumption
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall carry a shopping bag with us while we shop
and avoid polythene carry bags
ü We promise our Mother Earth we shall separate our daily wastes as recyclable and non-
recyclable category
ü We promise our Mother Earth we shall not pollute our water bodies, rivers and the ocean
ü We promise our Mother Earth that our industrial sectors strictly abide by the pollution
norms and not violate on any cause
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall walk /ride bicycles/ row boats wherever
possible thereby reduce the usage of cars
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall conserve our forest resources such as green
trees, herbs, wildlife etc
ü We promise our Mother Earth that we shall not do the mining operation if the place is rich
in vegetation.

agricultural lands into buildings

generations
ü Can get the help of corporate sector as their social responsibility
ü Can take the assistance of Press/ Media for propagating the message
ü Can organize small group activities such as skits, music shows etc for propagation
ü Can issue billets bearing the heading SEE PROJECT to residences
ü Can organize processions with a good number of people
ü Can get sponsors and put hoarding, stick posters, stickers etc.
ü Can advertise by displaying clips in Movie theaters, transport buses, trains etc.
ü Can perform any other innovative propagation methodology to create awareness
