Yes, you can get your ex back! But to do that, you are going to have to do a bit of a mental make-
over on yourself. And yes, breaking up can be very painful, especially when you are young and in
love. But it does offer a great opportunity for you to step back and reflect on your life and your
own happiness. In general, happy individuals make happy couples. You may have thought you
were doing the right thing for your relationship to give up certain things or make other changes in
yourself. It may not have been the right thing for you.
It is a mistake to try too hard to please your partner. This can be counter-productive. A somewhat

to please him; just don't overdo it.

that new relationship. Above all, demand respect from him. If he is truly the one for you, and you
are the right one for him, both of you will come away with something much better, much stronger
