24. USE OF PAST SIMPLE When do we use the Past Simple tense? -To talk about actions that took place in the past. -To talk about actions that were finished in the past. “Samantha wrote a book last year” “Yesterday I watched a film” (and I finished it!)

26. “ Firstly , Jim arrived home and he decided to watch a film. Secondly , he prepared his dinner. Then , he brushed his teeth and after he read some pages of his favourite book. Finally he went to bed.”
