  • 14. IRREGULAR VERBS Irregular verbs have a different Past Simple form, you will find a list in your Workbook (page 100). Some examples are: Go went Put put Run ran Write wrote Buy bought

  • 16. We use the auxiliary DID in its negative form DID NOT or DIDN'T .

  • 20. We also use the auxiliary DID before the personal pronoun:

  • 24. USE OF PAST SIMPLE When do we use the Past Simple tense? -To talk about actions that took place in the past. -To talk about actions that were finished in the past. “Samantha wrote a book last year” “Yesterday I watched a film” (and I finished it!)
