2. 1. When using an ATM, look for
anything that seems out-of-place or
looks like it could’ve been added on.
If you are using an unfamiliar ATM,
stick to machines in high-traffic areas
or machines located in stores that are
under constant surveillance.
3. 2. Frequently review your transactions
though Online Banking or Mobile
Banking, and call your financial
institution immediately if you discover
transactions that you did not make. The
sooner you notice and report back to us,
the quicker we can stop additional
fraudulent transactions. We can usually
refund money fraudulently taken from
your account, but only if you report it
soon after you notice it.
4. 3. Set up E-Alerts in Online Banking.
This will allow you to receive
notifications by text message or
email alert regarding your account.
5. 4. Make sure your contact
information is up to date on your
account. In the event that our
fraud monitoring team detects
suspicious activity, they will need
to be able to contact you to verify
whether or not the transactions
were legitimate.
