McCready, who rose to stardom after the 1996 album "Ten Thousand Angels," had attempted suicide twice before in 2005 and 2008. Her legal troubles and struggles with alcohol have also been well-documented. Her criminal records includes arrests for drug offenses, battery and drunken driving, and she appeared on VH1's Celebrity Rehab in 2010.
