• I addressed my audience by using a conventional technique of colloquial
language for example “Exclusive” to allow my magazine to be more appealing to
the audience.
• The use of my background and masthead typography allows my magazine to have
a sense of soulfulness and so that it appeals to my genre.
• I was also able to attract my audience by creating a reader/audience profile. This
allows me to understand what my audience does during their leisure time.
• On the front cover I also included a “free music download” to attract my audience
because even though my target audience is aged 18-30 years old, it would stand
out to the audience and other readers so more people can buy the magazine due
to the free music download.
