Long tail words are less competitive, less volume. However, the volume of the sum of the keywords are more than the sum of non-longtail (aka regular keywords) Also, longtail keywords typically convert at a higher rate.
Notice that the keywords that are searched for are bolded. Notice that Google knows that ‘orthodontists’ and ‘orthodontics’ are very similar and it bolds all of these related words.
The page <title> is the most important on page factor.
Off site SEO is (in my opinion) more important that on site. This makes sense just like in real life. If you say that you are the best then that’s one thing. If someone else says that are #1, that carries a lot more credit validity. These are the places that we typically will upload links for.
