  1. Keyword Research Select the top keywords that describe what you do based on what other people are searching for. Domain Name Selection Ideally, you want to get the keywords in your domain name. Create Search Engine Friendly Site Optimize the site (On-Site SEO) to maximize the SEO potential. Setup Localized Searching (If applicable) optimize the site to be maximized for local searches (ie keyword, city name) Begin List Building 90+% of people that come to a website will not convert (ie buy/contact/sign up). Try and gather this information from the visitor via a newsletter signup. Try trading something of value from the user for their contact information.
  2. -Google 70% market share -Yahoo 15-20% market share -Bing – 10-15% market share - Yahoo will begin displaying results the Bing results
  3. Explain what’s going on. PPC, local, organic
  4. Explain what’s going on. Nice to see that you know that numbers of keyword volume before you start the campaign.
  5. Long tail words are less competitive, less volume. However, the volume of the sum of the keywords are more than the sum of non-longtail (aka regular keywords) Also, longtail keywords typically convert at a higher rate.
  6. Notice that the keywords that are searched for are bolded. Notice that Google knows that ‘orthodontists’ and ‘orthodontics’ are very similar and it bolds all of these related words.
  7. The page <title> is the most important on page factor.
  8. Off site SEO is (in my opinion) more important that on site. This makes sense just like in real life. If you say that you are the best then that’s one thing. If someone else says that are #1, that carries a lot more credit validity. These are the places that we typically will upload links for.
