Process 1: Upload & Download procedures
Dictation from the doctor is stored as digital voice files on the client
dictation system. These files are uploaded via the Internet on to our overseas
ftp site. The FTP Site provides you with pre-configured software, which
allows you to upload the voice files and download the completed reports. You
are provided with a secure password to access your file directory on our site.
Equipment: Clients have an option either to hire our digital dictation
equipment or use their own equipment. VOX or Wave formats are preferred.

Process 2: Transcription
The downloaded audio files are assigned to our transcriptionists
dedicated to handle specific accounts. The file is then transcribed on a
transcription station and put into a customized format that is pre-defined by
the client. We support both Word and WordPerfect formats. You can provide
any requisite file templates. Other file formats may be supported upon
request.
Process 3: Quality check
Editors, Process Managers, Physicians and English language
specialist then proofread the transcribed report. This enables us to maintain
an accuracy level of 98% and above at all times.

Process 4: Delivery of Reports
Completed reports are then uploaded back on to the ftp directory.
Process 5: Archival
We have in place a self-reliant, fault tolerant archival and retrieval
system for better data/audio management and care. Generally, data files are
archived for a period of 12 months or a minimum period of 2 months.

12. Responsibility's of manager
The candidate will be responsible for Quality Control Systems, Inspection, Analyzing
Processes, Quality System Effectiveness Audit(s), MIS reporting and Standardization of
processes.
 Excellent listening and comprehension skills in English
 Graduation is not a must, but most of the staff at eTransMedix are
B.Tech’s or MCA’s or MBA’s who got selected on the strength of their English
language skills.
 Candidates who have had a minimum of 4 years of education outside Nagpur are
likely to have better English Skills than others.
eTransMedix Selection Process
Selection is based on a series of 4 tests.
Essay (To test writing skills). To write an essay on the given topic. Those who fail this
test will not be permitted to take any further tests.
General English (To test language skills). To answer 30 objective type questions.
Audio test. An audio tape containing a dictation will be played slowly. The candidate is
expected to write down the contents on a paper.
On line Audio test. Those who pass test 1, 2 and 3 will be given the opportunity to
practice in the lab for three days on live work on computers. The test will be conducted on
the 4th day.
