5. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
No registration fee.
The events are open to students of class 10, 11 and 12.
Participants must be present in full school uniform along with their bonafide
certificates.
Completed Registration Forms (on the CD) must be printed out and sent by
post on or before 10th July 2013. Spot-registration is also possible.
On the spot registration can be done at 8:30 am on Friday, 12th July 2013.

6. The judge’s decision is final.
Vulgarity of any form is strictly prohibited and will result in negative marking for the

9. • Competitors must bring their own cubes.
• Only the resting state of the puzzle after the
timer has been stopped is considered.
• All pieces of the puzzle must be fully attached
to be considered solved.
• If only 1 move is required, the puzzle is
considered solved with a time penalty of 2
seconds. It is not solved if more than a move is
required.

• The objective of the event is to talk
without errors and gestures.
• Each time a participant makes a mistake,
the other participants can raise an

• The team is to advertize the product given

•Criteria : Creativity, grammar,

• The team will have to solve as
many puzzles out of the given
Sudoku, crosswords, rebus and
anagrams.
• Time limit : 45 min – 1 hour.
• Quickest team with the most
number of correct answers

• On stage : 4 minutes
• Any junk and eco friendly equipment can be

witty cartoon/caricature on a given

one caricature
• Materials are required to be brought

• General rules of dumb charades apply.
• Rules for respective rounds will be given by the judges
on the spot.
• Time limit will be decided by the judges.

• One team ( Two participants)
• The participant will have to convince
the judges why they deserve to
receive the “life-jacket” from the
sinking ship.
• Duration : 6 minutes
• Criteria : Humour, knowledge of the
character and method of convincing.

• Only one team (maximum 6
participants )
• On stage : 3-4 minutes
• Cross dressing not allowed.
• Vulgarity will result in disqualification.
• Collect the movies on the first day.

• A team comprising of two members from each
school are given a topic, which they will either
argue for, or against, as the judge says “block”
and “tackle” respectively.
• The event is judged on creativity, humor,
spontaneity and consistancy
• 1 minute preparation time will be given

•Each team comprising of totally 2
members (same competitor for both
football and basketball, participants from
the same school will not be working
together)
• Each penalty taker will get 5-10 kicks in a
series of challenges to be determined.
•The free throw taker must try sinking as
many as possible from 10 shots.
•Rules for Round 2 will be determined on
the day of the event.
• Round 2 will comprise of those who have
not been cut off after the 1st round and
will determine the places.
•Elimination will be done using a point
scoring system.
47. Art attack
• This event consists of Junk Art, T-Shirt designing and Poster Making.
•2 contestants per contest for each (Total of 6)
•Students are required to bring their own materials. (Charts, Paints and
Waste Material included)
• The T-Shirts should be plain and without design of any sort.
49. 1. This event simulates court cases that test a contestant’s ability to analyze. This is an
individual event.
2. Only 2 participants per school.
3. Once presented with a situation, the contestant must pick a side before arguing
his/her case
4. Contestants are judged on their ability to convince and eloquence.
