2. Holistic education aiming at holistic health;
facilitating physical, instinctual, emotional,
intellectual and spiritual growth (with
productive element being integrated in it) is
essential for the welfare of individuals, groups,
nations and the world.
NAMASMARAN is core of holistic education.
The piecemeal approach or facilitation of petty
pursuits (under the guise of development and
progress) are not only useless but are in fact
counterproductive! These approaches have
lead to cancerous spread of industries with
uncontrolled production of unnecessary
utilities and their maddening marketing. These
industries consume energy, fuel and add to
undisposable waste and pollution. This sick
atmosphere on the one hand promotes the
3. growth of terrorism and pretends to act against
it (in a counterproductive way) on the other!
Lack of holistic education is responsible for the
hype of value systems nurturing the above
conditions.
