Code of Honor ,[object Object],As part of your Professional Responsibility You will be volunteered to be on one of 13 student CFA assessment teams for one course in two years. You will be assisted by a 2 nd year Medical student who was in the CFA program in the spring of 2009. You will also be guided by a faculty Group Advisor, as well as the Course Director. I am your CFA Student Ambassador!

Code of Honor ,[object Object],This is an opportunity to speak out in a professional manner to help improve the lectures, faculty, and the curriculum at NYCOM. NYCOM

Code of Honor ,[object Object],Each lecture everyday your entire team will take notes on the presentation, lecture, discussion and whether it follows suggested guidelines. You will also be evaluating the instructor for the class. This includes all labs, Anatomy, ICC, DPR, and OMM.

Code of Honor ,[object Object],NYCOM I was involved in the CFA plan pilot and that experience helped me greatly in my 3 rd year rotation.

Code of Honor ,[object Object],In our weekly CFA meeting we discussed different lectures and presentations round robin-style. This process came in handy later on in my residency.

NYCOM Curriculum Committee Report (5 min.)

Approved recommendations to be acted on The approved CFA recommendation go to sub-committees and Administrators to affect change.

A report is generated to go back to the CFA Students as to what recommendations were adopted Action report to CFA team on adopted recommendations
