Dr. Jay Schwartz, a graduate of Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, owns and practices at Collin County Pediatrics in Frisco, Texas. A pediatrician since 1994, Dr. Jay Schwartz holds membership with the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Texas Pediatric Society (TPS).

Dr. Jay Schwartz, a graduate of Northwestern University’s
Feinberg School of Medicine, owns and practices at Collin
County Pediatrics in Frisco, Texas. A pediatrician since 1994,
Dr. Jay Schwartz holds membership with the American
Association of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Texas Pediatric
Society (TPS).
The Texas Pediatric Society, a branch of the AAP, seeks to
ensure all children in the state are given the opportunity to
achieve their potential. The TPS was presented with the
AAP’s Outstanding Chapter Award for 2015.
The TPS itself offers a variety of awards recognizing those
who have made notable contributions to child advocacy in
Texas. These awards are presented at the Annual Meeting

recognizes a member of the TPS who personifies
the society’s child wellness goals.
2. The Distinguished Service Award, which is
presented to a non-member – within or outside
the medical community – who has shown
considerable dedication to children.
3. The Early Career Physician’s Award, which
celebrates a TPS member under 40 years of age
who has, during five years or less of professional
practice, provided excellent pediatric care.
