Periodontal Disease
Periodontal disease eats away bone and threatens your overall health. Often people “watch” the
problem. They are aware it is there and believe it can be tamed through regular treatments. Patients
soon learn that conventional treatments are not remedies but are long term commitments to continued
painful procedures. If you want a solution, you will get it with implants as it will preserve the jaw
bone vs. the periodontal disease that will destroy or eat your bone away if it’s not eradicated.

If you lose teeth and wear a denture, you will get atrophy, which is jaw bone loss/shrinkage.
As atrophy advances, the fit of your denture is compromised. It will slip and slide around in your

further. Natural teeth have 150-250 pounds per square inch (PSI) of chewing power. New dentures

Mini implants are meant to be a supportive solution for the retention of a removable denture. Although they often allow a temporary fix, mini implants can eventually
become a problem and removable denture fit is compromised. Some cases have reported, that after time, they were startled to see their mini implants stuck on the dentures
when removed. So much for their ability to solve a problem. Then patients find their money has been wasted by trying short sighted solutions that end with continuing
problems. It’s the 21st Century and dentistry has come a long way with conventional and standard dental implants. The only advantage of mini dental implants is the cost.
