With the rapid growth, many believe digital textbooks will become a big hit before the year of 2020. The switch is already being made in California and soon will hit other states in our country. By 2020 digital textbooks will be an accustomed changed. Educators and students are preparing to make the switch and the rest of should as well.

Teachers that haven’t had much experience with technology would also utilize digital textbooks and they may have a harder time navigating. Although this is a good idea, many believe it won’t work. So many are comfortable with using printed textbooks and as a result, many may be reluctant to switch over. Despite these claims, teachers and students across the nation will make the switch and learn to use this new technology.
