The document compares beliefs about God from the Holy Book and the Holy Quran. It summarizes several attributes of and statements about God from the Holy Book, such as that God sometimes forgets, sleeps, needs refreshment, can be seen face to face, lacks complete knowledge, regrets actions, and orders sins. However, the document states that the Holy Quran portrays God as never forgetting, sleeping, needing refreshment, being seen, lacking knowledge, regretting, or ordering sins.
2. Despite the Holy Book sometimes
teaches that there is only one God
(Mk 12:29; Eph 4:6; Jas 2:19), who is
pure spirit (Jn 4:24; 1 Jn 4:12), the
creator of the world (1 Ti 4:4; Heb
3:4), holy and good (Ro 3:4; Eph 4:24;
Rev 4:8), all-powerful (Mt 19:26; Mk
2:7, 10:18) and worthy of mankind's
worship and love (Mt 6:24; Mk 11:22;
Lk 2:14), it states something
otherwise in many places. This is not
the case in the Holy Quran.
3. In the Holy Book God ( Sometimes )forgets
Why do you forget us forever, why do you
so long forsake us? [Lam. 5:20
How long O Lord ? will you forget me
forever. [Psalm 13:1]
In Islam God never forgets
(The angels say:) "We descend not but by
command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth
what is before us and what is behind us,
and what is between and thy Lord never
doth forget" [Al_Quraan 019:064 ]+

4. In The Holy Book, God ( Sometimes ) sleeps
Awake, why do you sleep, O Lord?
(Psalm. 4:23)
Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep,
and like a mighty man that shouts by reason
of wine. [Psalm. 4:23]
In The Holy Quran God never sleeps
Allah! There is no God but He,-the Living,
the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber
can seize Him nor sleep. (Al_Quraan 2:255)

5. In the Holy Book, God ( Sometimes ) needs to be
refreshed
For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth,
and on the seventh day he rested, and was
refreshed. [Exo. 31:17]
In the Holy Quran, God never needs to be
refreshed
We created the heavens and the earth and
all between them in Six Long Periods, nor
did any sense of weariness touch
Us.(Al_Quraan 50:038)

6. In the Holy Book, God can ( Sometimes ) be
seen face to face
Jacob wrestled God who said to him, "Let me go;
for the day is breaking" But Jacob said, "I will not
let you go unless you bless me. And he said to
him,” What is your name? And he said "Jacob"
Then the Lord said, "Your name shall be no more
called Jacob but Israel, for you have striven with
God and with men, and have prevailed. [Gen.
32:22]
In the Holy Quran , God can’t be seen face to face
No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over
all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet is
acquainted with all things. [Al_Quraan 006:103

7. In the Holy Book God is sometimes not All-
Knowing
And they heard the voice of the LORD God
walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and
Adam and his wife hid themselves from the
presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of
the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam,
and said unto him, Where are thou? [Gen. 3:8,9]
In the Holy Quran God is always All-Knowing
With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that
none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on
the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His
knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths)
of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or
withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those
who can read). [Al_Quraan 006:059

And the Lord was sorry that he made man on
the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. [he
said]: "For I am sorry that I have made them."
[Gen 6:6,7]
In The Holy Quran , God never regrets
The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfillment
in truth and in justice: None can change His
words: for He is the one who heareth and
knoweth all. [Al_Quraan 6:115

9. In the Holy Book, God ( Sometimes ) orders sins to
be committed

committed great harlotry by forsaking the
. Also see ( Exo. 3:22) Lord." [Hos. 1:2
In The Holy Quran, God bans indecent
acts
Say: "Nay, Allah never commands what is
indecent: Do you say of Allah what you
) know not? " [Al_Quraan 7:28
