2. Prophet Muhammad, inspired by God’s
revelation, laid the human rights and even
animals rights long before both terms
came into being.
What distinguishes the Islamic rights
whether for humans or animals is that they
are ordinances by God and they were
practiced in the golden age of Islam.
Any one who violates these rights is a
sinner who will be punish by God.
In this presentation, you will read some
hadiths that were the basis of the Islamic
approach towards animals.

chicks.

9. “There was a Jewish whore,
who used to commit adultery
and took it as a profession. It
happened that she passed by a

she approached the brim of the
well, she found a dog out of
breath from the blunt of thirst.
“It must have been
suffering exactly like me,” she
thought.

10. She took off her shoes,
which she filled when she
went down to the well. She
then stretched her hand and
quenched the dog’s thirst.
When this whore died, she

remitted because of this one
thoughtful act of quenching
the dog’s thirst.

It happened that the Prophet
(SWS) saw some people
sitting on animals to which he
commented, “Keep them safe
and sound when riding them
and when leaving them, don’t

mention Allah more than its
rider does.”
