McGeehan & Sons Wheelwrights Honey Brook mining region circa 1912; ancestor Daniel McGeehan had Jack Kehoe as a neighbor at the Honey Brook coal mining camp (1860) where he learned the blacksmith trade; this is a photo of his Wheelwright shop on Main Street in McAdoo, PA, a town he helped found in 1892. Daniel served in the Union Army, 6th Pennsylvania Volunteers, for the First Battle of Manassas (1861). The shop and adjoining house were constructed about 1892.
