This document outlines learning objectives and content for a course on the history and evolution of modern dance from modern to post-modern styles. It will cover prominent choreographers from the early 20th century like Isadora Duncan to more recent artists like Trisha Brown. Students will be assigned to one of three groups to create a timeline of modern choreographers from different eras and assess works from pioneers who developed new techniques that rebelled against traditional ballet.
