ΤO THE
SHEPHERD

2. The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down
in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths
of righteousness
For His name's sake.

3. Even though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head
with oil;
My cup overflows.

4. Surely goodness
and lovingkindness
will follow me
all the days of my life,
And I will dwell
in the house of the LORD
forever.

7. Now the God of peace,
who brought up from the dead
the great Shepherd of the sheep
through the blood of the eternal
covenant, even Jesus our Lord,

to do His will….

returned to the Shepherd and
Guardian of your souls.

• The Good Shepherd who lays
down His life for the sheep
• The Great Shepherd of the sheep
• The Shepherd and Guardian of
your soul
• The Chief Shepherd!

10. Some characteristics of sheep:
• Helpless and vulnerable
• Not that bright!
• Easily led… ASTRAY!
