1. Review of Movie Maachis
Characters:- Chandrachur Singh, Om Puri, Tabu, Kulbhushan Kharbanda,
Kanwaljit, Raj Zutshi, Jasjit Shergill, Ravi Gosain, Suneel Sinha.
It is a story of young youth (Chandrachur Singh) in Punjab
who was very close to his best friend jassi and his sister veera with whom he
was going to marry. One day when police came to their place searching for a
terrorist named jimmy. Jassi showed the police a pet dog and said this is jimmy
in our house.
The police takes away jassi and says they will question him and
leave in half an hour, that half an hour turns into days, then finally one night
jassi returned home. He was tortured very badly, kripal was very angry with
the way he was tortured and then he decided to take revenge, so he joined a
group who all were fighting against corrupt people and policeman and also
corrupt politicians.
After taking revenge from the policeman who had tortured
his friend jassi, he returns home back to meet them, where veera says she also
wants to come with him and kripal didn’t took her as it was very risky. Later
veera joined the same group which kripal had joined. She came as a “missile
shooter” and put into jail. Veera kills the other group members and then she
goes to meet kripal in the jail. She gave a match stick to kripal and also she
kept one in her mouth because of which they both of them died.
