By exploring the characteristics, the audience will understand what the idealsare, and how to obtain them. The audience will also understand what contributes to failing marriages

12. What is a Marriage Marriages are defined as two people in a significant commitment(relationship), whom ideal is to love one another in each other’s lifetime. Their relationship has become of most important, or moved to another level, which may include a legal document , conjoining them together as one.

Other studies that have been conducted has shown that couples have related more characteristics as a make up of successful marriages,(Collins & Coltrane, 1991), those being: Faithfulness Understanding Good sex life Children Common Sharing household chores Having enough money Similar backgrounds

18. Can Humor Be an Ideal Factor? In fact, humor is considered an important characteristic of successful marriages. couples have to understand what type of humor he/she is using in their relationship, being careful not to offend their partner. (Cann, Zapata, Davis, 2011)

19. Last But Not Least; Failing Marriages Given the list of characteristics that make up successful marriages, one may think that those attributes are easily obtainable. Those attributes are obtainable, but when obtained, the characteristics must maintained constantly. Can Failing Marriages Be Detected Early? Marriages can be detected for failure early, starting in the beginning stages of a relationship, during the courtship phase. Problems that exist before marriage, will most likely continue within a marriage, unless the problem has been addressed and solved properly. (Vaughan, 1986)

Ending Points We have learned that there are ideal characteristics of successful marriages, and that those characteristics must be established during the beginning stages of a relationship before a couple decides to get married, but one married, the couple must maintain and build up those characteristics on a constant to success proof their marriagel
