2. What is PLN?
PLN, stands for ‘Personal Learning Network’. It is
where you turn to for a professional learning.
Such as where you get advice, make connections
and this can even be achieved on a global scale.
4. 1. Twitter
This social networking site that connects me
to other educators and get ideas that I
would use in the classroom. This is a micro-
blog that is streamed instantly and have
conversations on a global scale.
6. 3. Blogging
Tumblr is a blog website that gives me
insight into other educators experience and
describes what worked for them. Ideas are
being shared, including lesson plans and
creative presentations.
7. 4. Youtube
I find that with youtube I can have a visual
understanding of other educators
experiences and great use of
multimedia, including demonstrations and a
step-by-step process.
8. 5. Google
Just like the famous term ‘google it’ I
find that it is the most useful search
engine tool and connects me to specific
ideas.
9. 6. Teachers
Past practicum supervisors and
lecturers at Avondale College have
given me insight into how to utilize
teaching and learning in the classroom.
