Tachyon Releases the BikerCam
The world’s toughest helmet cameras, is unveiling the
newest member of the Tachyon family; the Tachyon
BikerCam - designed for continuous recording while
plugged into your bike's 12V outlet. The BikerCam
can mount to your helmet or fenders, and, with
Tachyon’s new Quick-Release Handlebar Mount, to
your handlebars or engine guard.
It has a wide angle lens with no distortion and has excellent audio. It has infinite
recording-loop technology that allows it to record over 8 hours, on a 32GB card,
and then recycle the earliest files. This means that it never runs out of memory
space. Memory cards are sold separately.

Mounted to the new Quick-Release Handlebar Mount, the camera can be plugged
into your bike's 12V outlet for continuous recording. While plugged in, your camera
will both charge and record. The mount will stay securely attached to your bike
while the camera can be very easily removed. Once removed, you can use the fully-
charged camera to record your activities while away from your bike.
The BikerCam comes with our Rainproof Cover that protects it from light-to-heavy
rain and dust. This cover will fit over all of our mounts and allow charging through
the back of the cover.
The BikerCam also takes time-lapse photos - taking one photo every two seconds.
Each photo is time and date stamped, which comes in very useful when
documenting unsafe drivers and accidents. Like all Tachyon cameras, the Biker
Camera couldn’t be easier to use. It is ready to go right out of the box and has a
simple, one-button operation. The cameras are also plug-and-play with a PC or a
Mac.
The BikerCam comes with our 12V Charge n’ Record Cable for charging from a 12V
outlet, such as vehicle's cigarette lighter. Also included is the Rainproof Cover - a
silicon rubber cover which makes the camera rainproof. This is a huge benefit for
long road trips and outdoor activities. Optional accessories include a cable for
plugging into a 110V–240V outlet. This allows for continuous recording at the home
or office - ideal for a home or business security system.
The BikerCam is the same size and weight as the current OPS HD camera (1.2 OZ,
2.9 X 1 X 1 Inches). It also boast the same patented 8-way mounting system that
gives the user an unparalleled range of mounting positions, where the user can
rotate the camera inside it's mounts from the 12 to the 9 to the 6 to the 3 o'clock
positions, as well as forwards or backwards.

3. Standard mounts that come with the camera include the Contour Mount, for
mounting to curved surfaces such as the side or tops of helmets or fenders, a
standard Tripod Mount that will attach to any ¼-20 inch universal tripod screw, and
a Clip Mount, with multiple angles of rotation - perfect for caps and straps and

When unplugged from the cable, the BikerCam can record around five and a half
hours of video on a single charge. Time-lapse photos can be recorded for twice as

battery, tightly enclosed inside the
case, prevents loss of footage due
to shock when engaging in extreme
