Youth Coalition for development under Save Life Initiative Kampala, Uganda Apart from running our children centre, only one adult is involved in active management of the organization. They are basically in a non-active management of the centre such as 9 of them being on the board of trustees. They basically play a mentorship and an advisory role to the organization. Community Alliance for Change Nairobi, Kenya Youths without adults is not enough, they need to be guided here and there as adults could have more experience on the society and the environment that surrounds the youth. - This is an ongoing survey is drawn from potential youth fund recipients. The survey is posted on the UN HABITAT Opportunities Fund webpage. The survey currently has 601 responses representing 52 developing countries. The Fund was widely advertised, resulting in 1100 applications being submitted from more than 80 developing countries

- A majority of the projects focused on MDG 1 (eradication of poverty) and MDG 3 (promote gender equality)
- 67% of projects have average monthly cost of $500 or less ($6000 per year or less). Demonstrating an effective and efficient use of resources for significant benefit.
- 61% of projects are either self-funded or run on money raised through entrepreneurial activities
- 93.6% state they have adults involved. 68.9% of those were mentors, 61.3% Board members, etc.
