2.  Zebra was a runner. In the story he ran
down a hill and broke has leg. He also
had hand problems which is why the
doctor said he could would not be able
to ever run again .

3.  By joining an art class taught by a former
soldier that he met on the street named
Alex. Instead of running Zebra spend his
summer taking art classes until it was time
for him to leave for summer camp.

4. He thought that
his community
was so perfect
but, it was not.
The community
was not perfect
because it was
ruled by elders
that made them
follow rules. They
were made to
follow rules that
told them what
hair cuts to
get, what clothes
they could wear
and what actives
they could do.

5.  By talking to the Giver about people
giving up sameness . Jonas carries out his
plan and takes Gabriela which he loves
and they ride bikes out of the
community.

6.  The Titanic was sinking and she had to
find away to get her Ruth and the rest of
her family off of the sinking ship.

7. By demanding to
find out what was
going on with the
ship. After she
found out the
problem, she was
rushed up to the
top deck. On the
top deck one of
the crew member
picked up her
children and put
them on the life
boat. Ruth’s
mother
demanded to get
on with her kids.
Ruth got on life
boat number 13.

8.  Of people who had major life
troubles, but who were also strong
enough to over come them. These stories
teach us that, you to can also overcome
adversities like the charterers in these
stories did. It just takes strength, faith and
courage.
