- What are the common threads, patterns, words in the stories that you have heard and can see in the quotes around the room? -  How does this relate to your experience of the Winning Ways in Walkden which enable people, who want to, to be lifelong non-smokers? - Any particular things you have learned from what you have heard today about what  is working?

Just imagine it is as easy as possible for Walkden people who  want to, to be lifelong non-smokers… It is 2013 - people in Walkden are thrilled with the Winning  Ways they have found. They are really helping people who  want  to stay non-smokers, to do so. Everyone feels able to do their very best and is proud of what they are achieving. Describe what is going on. What is different for local people, especially young people? What is different about the environment and services?  What have been the keys to success? Talk about this in your group, then produce a script or story board for a 30 second TV advertisement for the Walkden you have  described.  Give your advert a title. The feedback will be your group acting out or explaining your ad!
Knowing what we know now . .  What actions would make the  biggest difference  to enable more people in Walkden, who want to be lifelong non-smokers, to adopt Winning Ways ? The actions may be small or radical.

  • 1. Learning from what works To make success the easy option For Walkden people who want lifelong smokefree lives

  • 4. - What are the common threads, patterns, words in the stories that you have heard and can see in the quotes around the room? - How does this relate to your experience of the Winning Ways in Walkden which enable people, who want to, to be lifelong non-smokers? - Any particular things you have learned from what you have heard today about what is working?

  • 6. Just imagine it is as easy as possible for Walkden people who want to, to be lifelong non-smokers… It is 2013 - people in Walkden are thrilled with the Winning Ways they have found. They are really helping people who want to stay non-smokers, to do so. Everyone feels able to do their very best and is proud of what they are achieving. Describe what is going on. What is different for local people, especially young people? What is different about the environment and services? What have been the keys to success? Talk about this in your group, then produce a script or story board for a 30 second TV advertisement for the Walkden you have described. Give your advert a title. The feedback will be your group acting out or explaining your ad!
  • 7. Knowing what we know now . . What actions would make the biggest difference to enable more people in Walkden, who want to be lifelong non-smokers, to adopt Winning Ways ? The actions may be small or radical.
