2. MCL Ebooks and Overdrive Advantage
Program
 MCL has started an Ebook collection for the exclusive
use of MCL patrons as part of the “Overdrive
Advantage Program.”
 Purchasing these books will vastly reduce wait times.
 MCL patrons still have access to the entire
downloadable books website.
 Circulation rules, such as two week checkout and no
renewals, are all the same.

3. What type of books are we buying?
 Books with a long hold list are our top priority.
 We’ll now show you how to identify MCL Ebooks and
place a hold.

4. How do I get started?
 Visit http://nh.lib.overdrive.com
 Sign-in with your Manchester City Library card by
clicking on the “Sign In” link.
 You must be signed-in to find MCL ebooks.

5. Select Manchester City Library and enter
your 14 digit library card number

6. Use the Search box to find a book you are
interested in.

7. For a more detailed search use the
“Advanced Search” screen

8. Finding MCL Overdrive Advantage Program Titles
 In your search results look for this symbol , which
indicates if we have purchased the title.

9. Place a Hold for Checked Out Titles
 Click on the “Checked Out – Place a Hold” button.

10. Place a Hold Continued
 Enter your email address
 Click on “Checked out– Place a Hold”
 No further action is required. You have placed the hold
on the book and will receive an email notification
when the book is ready for you.
