NOTA INTRODUTÓRIA
O presente documento visa dar a conhecer a toda a comunidade
Inglês no âmbito do projecto Creative Grammar Workshop (Oficina
criatividade.
Tondela, 09 de Julho de 2011.

Maria Elisa Figueiredo

1. GÉNESE DO PROJECTO.
A avaliação diagnóstica e formativa nessas turmas permitiu
4
5. CREATIVE GRAMMAR WORKSHOP 2010/11
opinião dos alunos relativamente à mesma. Assim, no final do ano
No ano lectivo transacto, a professora Dulce Coimbra integrou o

2. BREVE DESCRIÇÃO DO PROJECTO
2.2. FINALIDADES
de Inglês;
aprendizagem do Inglês
6
7. CREATIVE GRAMMAR WORKSHOP 2010/11
funcionamento;
fácil e divertido;
Alargar e aprofundar o repertório lexical e gramatical dos
alunos;
poéticos;
2.4. PÚBLICO-ALVO
(CEF), Electricidade de Instalações e Práticas Administrativas;
Turmas do 7ºano: 7ºA, B e E;
Turmas do 8ºano: 8ºC e 8ºE;
o profissional.

THE PORTUGUESE
Serves 10 million
Take a lot of Iberians, Celts and Lusitanians
And let them settle
Add some Phoenicians, Greeks and Carthaginians
Then overrun them with Roman conquerors.
Remove the Romans after approximately six hundred years.
Add lots of Moors
To some Suevis, Vandals and Visigoths,
Then stir vigorously.
Mix some spicy Indians, Mozambicans, Angolans
Guinea-Bissauans and Cape Verdeans
With some Sao Tomans
Goans, Macaoans, Timorese and Chinese.
Then take a blend of Croatians, Ukrainians, Moldovans
And Romanians,
Combine with some cool Brazilians
And turn up the heat.
Sprinkle some British and Germans together with some
Dutch, Scandinavians
And Spanish.
Then add to the melting pot.
Add some peace, love and respect
Serve with equality
And enjoy.

Why?
Why does life sometimes look like a stormy night?
Why do friends always make me feel like a sunshiny day?
Why do my thoughts usually sound like rain?
Why does school sometimes taste of dry bread?
Why does love rarely feel like a bed of roses?
Why does music often smell of exotic fruit?
Why does rest always taste like a piece of chocolate?

Hello friends!
We are in the world of the dragons.
We have made friends with a dragon called Arrow.
She is beautiful and has already helped us when
we were in trouble.
As you can imagine, this is not an easy world to
live in. The dragons are constantly at war and the
village where we’re staying has already been
attacked several times. But this is also very
exciting and we are experiencing things
we thought weren’t possible!
Goodbye. See you one day!

Hello,
I’m writing from Hell. Here everything is so HOT.
To make things worse a demon is always picking on
me. He is very scary and frightens me all the time.
He tries to catch me every day, but I hide from him
in a big pot.
Here there are not only demons but also dragons,
dogs from hell, spirits and many other terrible
creatures.
I'm trying to get out of here. But it is very difficult.
See you soon ….. I hope.

Hello!
I'm in paradise.
This is perfect, it is very quiet and very beautiful.
It has a beach with white sand and a sea with clear
blue water. It’s sunny all the time and here you can
lie in the sun and not get sunburnt! So I have a
beautiful tan.
Paradise is surrounded by palm trees and sand
and water.
It is beautiful but so far away! I don’t know if I’ll ever
return. Maybe St. Peter will give me a special ticket
to get back to earth and visit you, my friends! Lúcia Mariano, CEF - PA
See you next eternity!

I’m in the world of fashion.
Here everything is very beautiful and … expensive!
It has always been my dream since I was a little girl –
to be here, in this perfect world!
And now that my dream has come true I am very happy!
I’ve made many friends and I have the opportunity to walk
on the catwalk in fashion shows!
And I have met Gisele Bünchen! She is beautiful and very nice.

INCIDENT
Last month I saw a girl
Crying on the school bus
Tears rolled down her face
For a long time
But no one noticed but me.
Maybe she cried for love.
Did she love someone that didn’t love her
back?
Did she want to scream out
her love and her disappointment?
I didn’t say anything to her.
I think love is a crazy thing.
Don’t you think so?

his look told me not to break down.

And I made a promise:

My mother usually says:
Don’t eat with your hands!
Don’t stick out your tongue!
Don’t play in the neighbour’s lands!
Don’t touch the dog’s dung!
Don’t annoy your little brother,
Or he will cry!
Respect your mother,
And she will let you eat french fries!

Don´t jump on your bed
Or you won’t have where to sleep;
Don´t do stupid things
Or you will get sick!
Don´t use the stepladder

Don´t eat anything
When it is almost noon!
Don´t eat with your hands
It is rude;
Don’t play with your food!

True Love
You have been scared of your own shadow
You have hidden from your sorrow
You have been looking for true love
Like a diamond washed up
On the shore
You have been lost
Since your love left you
Now your heart is waking to life!
But you still haven’t found what you’re looking for.
Sooner or later you’re gonna love again

I walked around the creepy house silently
I whispered very quietly
I opened the door of a bedroom very slowly
And it creaked loudly
A creepy man came out of the room suddenly
I started to run down the stairs quickly
I tripped and fell
Suddenly the creepy man grabbed my arm
I started to scream
Then… I woke up.

Mystery
I was comfortably lying on the sofa
When I heard a strange whispering sound.
I got up quickly,
Opened the door scarily
And carefully peeped out.
I saw a few drops of water
That quietly fell.
It was a mysterious summer rain.

I’d love to have a robot seal. Its behaviour
would be similar to that of a real seal. It
would blink, shake its flippers, shake its head
and bark “ort…ort”. Moreover, it would
interact with its owner (me, of course!) and
be friendly to children.
I would have a funny pet, without all the
inconveniences of having a real seal at home.

My ideal
Robot
I would like to have a
robot because I think it
would be fun to have an
intelligent machine that
can speak, play games and
help us with our everyday chores or homework.
It would have a big round head and small eyes; it would
also have two arms and two hands. It would be able to
walk, but it wouldn’t be very tall.
Its name would be Sammy: a funny name for a funny
“person” (yes, a person, because “he” would do all the
basic things that a human can do).
Sammy, my ideal robot, would talk to me, help me with
my homework and play games with me. Besides, he
would be one of my best friends.

Proponentes: Sub-departamento de Inglês-Alemão em colaboração
Organização com a Biblioteca Escolar
(equipa)
Equipa: Mª Dulce Coimbra, Mª Elisa Figueiredo, Lurdes Neves
.
Figueiredo (professora responsável), Dulce Coimbra e Lurdes Neves –
momentos essenciais:
1. Leitura e interacção com um texto “modelo”;
2. Re)criação/ (re)escrita pessoal do texto pelos alunos e ilustração do
mesmo;

activamente na organização e montagem das exposições;
actividades do projecto, especialmente das exposições realizadas;
Biblioteca Escolar e na página electrónica da escola ;
do Inglês
inglesa, com respeito pelas regras do seu funcionamento;
Cumprimento divertido;
dos
4. Alargar e aprofundar o repertório lexical e gramatical dos alunos;
objectivos
5. Incrementar o gosto pela leitura e (re)escrita de textos poéticos;
Inglês-Alemão e a Biblioteca Escolar.
94
95. CREATIVE GRAMMAR WORKSHOP 2010/11
visualizado online, no seguinte endereço:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDhOT0F
NS3hDV2VCWHMzNVdmR1RjS3c6MQ
“A OGC ajudou a
Workshop” na sua aprendizagem do Inglês;
positivos também, em termos de resultados, na qualidade dos textos que criaram;

me a decorar mais facilmente tudo.
Ajudou a aprender e a entender melhor as estruturas gramáticas.
