July is One of Many Great Months
to Support a Survivor
STAGES
Shame, why me?
Disgust, please not again.
Self-pity, fragile, crushed, weak, invisible.
Anger, what about my rights? How dare you?
What about respect? I deserve more!
Disgust, memories, haunting me, stalking
me, too many memories.
Forgiveness, time to move forward, to
heal. There is peace in forgiveness, power
in saying the words "I forgive", strength
in conquering the past and not letting it
shadow my future.
I choose freedom!
