2. SubjectSearch
• make sure the Subject tab is highlighted
• then type in your search word and press Enter (We
will look for books on horses)
3. • Choose the subject heading and double click.
(We will choose books about training horses.)
4. • You see a list of books with that subject in
• Choose the book you want and write down its
Title and Call Number.
5. TitleSearch
• Make sure “Title and other searches” is
highlighted
• Type in the first few letters of the title and
press Enter.(We are searching for Tomorrow, when the War Began)
6. • You see a list of titles starting with “Tom”
• Choose the one you are looking for and note
its call number.
7. Author Search
• Make sure “Title and other searches” is
highlighted
• Type in the first few letters of the author’s
surname (we are searching for Martin Handford)
• Click on Author or Author/Co-author (if you need
more choices)
8. • You can see a list of titles in the Library by
Martin Handford.
• Choose the one you want and note its call
number.
9. Other Searches
• In the same way, you can also search for
series, using the dewey number, using a
keyword etc.
10. No Matches!
• If you get this message, firstly check your
spelling! It must be correct. Type in fewer
letters if unsure how to spell it.
• Otherwise, we may not have the resource.
