First the bad news. Only about 1 in 500 status updates makes it to the News Feed and contrary to popular belief, the "Live Feed" does NOT show every update. But now the good news. With just a little bit of knowledge, you can use Facebook's filtering algorithm (EdgeRank) to capture top of mind with your target and drive loads more traffic to your website. Everyone is quick to talk about Facebook and how to engage with your audience. But until you understand the science behind facebook, your updates will fall on deaf ears.
