It is a fund managed by Governor State
Bank of Pakistan. Sources of income of
PWF are budget and trade surpluses.
Unfortunately for last two decades, we
have been facing budget and trade
deficits. Economists and political
analysts like Dr. Qaiser Bengali and
Muhammad Ilyas Qadri have been
advocating for effective management of
PWF. True patriotism demands logic,
truth and transparency. Money in Swiss
Bank must be brought back besides
scrutinizing assets of tax evaders.
Consultation must be done with
provincial governments to finance
mobilization. Prime Minister Nawaz
Sharif must mobilize a new honest team
for economic sovereignty of Pakistan.
PTV must telecast business talk shows.
